The challenge
The challenge was to implement a complex fintech product under significant time pressure. A crypto copy trading marketplace combines numerous functions that must work seamlessly together: from secure user authentication and payment processing to real-time exchange data integration.
Metrade needed to go to market as quickly as possible with a convincing product to gain an edge in a fast-moving market. At the same time, stability, security, and user-friendliness could not fall victim to the tight timeline—posing a major challenge for conventional development approaches.
The solution
Deep Impact chose an unconventional approach to ensure both speed and quality. The project was launched as a design sprint, during which a clickable prototype was created right away. Using the AI-powered tool Lovable—an AI-based website generator—a first prototype was developed within just a few days, showcasing the core features and user experience of Metrade. This early model served as a Minimum Lovable Product and enabled fast stakeholder feedback, which was incorporated into the development.
Based on the prototype, the actual platform was developed entirely using no-code technologies. Tools used included Supabase for database and authentication solutions, and Vercel for hosting the application. The team also used AI-supported development tools to accelerate routine tasks and implement complex requirements efficiently.

Results
The development goals were fully achieved in record time. From the start of the design sprint to the deployment of the fully operational platform took only a few weeks. Compared to a traditional software project, time-to-market was reduced by around 60%. What would have taken several months using conventional software development was realized in about six weeks thanks to the no-code and AI-supported approach.
